Emma Ribbing & Khamlane Halsackda
We are two independent choreographers, performers, visual artists who are looking to challenge our and peoples usual perception of beauty, dance and the human body.
We worked together in London ten years ago but met once more in 2007. We freelance between Sweden, Switzerland and the UK but have toured extensively across Europe.
Last September 2010 we were resident choreographers at Dansstationen in Malmö, Sweden, where our new creation aliAs: on the tongue premiered: 28th and 29th September.
This blog displays the working progress of the aliAs project and now will serve our latest project ‘The new folk-dance’, commencing this summer, and allows for the public to leave their valuable comments about the work we do (or anything else they wish to say) – but ultimately it aims at triggering people to ask questions about contemporary art, as we ourselves insist on doing.
